Owairaka School Drama performance

Yesterday we were thoroughly entertained by the amazing performance of the Owairaka Performance Group. They all acted confidently and convincingly in The Silly Goat Gruff performance.
We wish them luck for their travelling performances.
Awesome work Mr Greenfield on organising and directing such a talented team.
Big shout out to Rm23's Charli who did an amazing performance as the baby goat. Awesome!

Tae Kwon Do

We are very fortunate this term to take part in Tae Kwon Do with our awesome instructor Pete. We loved our first session and are looking forward to learning some more awesome skills.
This session we learnt to stand, walk, punch and kick in Tae Kwon Do.
We are really looking forward to learning some self-defence skills!

Arataki Fun

For our Kauri Team trip this term we visited Arataki to learn about invertebrates and how they are great recyclers. Massive thanks to the education guides at Arataki and the awesome parents who helped us and made the tip possible.

Game of Moostery

On Thursday 5th July we set up a Google Hangout chat with our Game of Moostery Buddy Class. We took turns at asking yes or not questions where we tried to guess each others: Island. Region. City or Town and School.
It was really great narrowing down places on Google Maps to try and locate them and asking them questions such as “Are you North of Dunedin?” and “Are you within 100km of Hokitika?”

Our buddy class did amazing and managed to guess our school first. We came in a few questions after with their school “Paroa Grey School”.
Check out the photos!

Here are the links to our Buddy Class students blogs. Click on the names to check out their blog. They have just started learning to blog so check out their awesome start!
