  1. Thank you Louise for coming in and using your spare time to make sushi with us! My top tip for making sushi would be not putting too much in so that it can be small enough to fit in your mouth! That sushi was really yum and I loved it!!!

Thank you to Louise who showed us how to make sushi. It was so fun! A tip from me is keep your rice on one side of the seaweed so you can roll it easily.

  7. Hi Room 22 its me Kody. When we made sushi with Louise it was quite fun because we are the ones who got to actually make it the our teacher had to cut it though. But anyways it was quite sticky when we made it with the rice because she put vinegar in it to make it sticky. Louise said that putting vinegar in rice helps it with the rolling part. It was kind of easy but I had to wait for a board and there was barely any rice left so the person next to me Mansour wasn't able to make sushi. my sushi was pretty good especially with cream cheese. 9. Sushi making was super fun. It was definitely a nice experience. I thought my sushi tasted delicious. My sushi included rice, carrot, tuna, crab (I know, crab sounds gross but I find it yum). My top tip would be to put enough rice so that the ends have enough.

  18. Thanks room 22, Keane and Rachel for allowing me the opportunity to come into your class and share a new experience with you. It was such a pleasure working alongside you all and watching your skills develop. You are a awesome bunch of kids and should be very proud of your effort and hopefully you might try making it at home for your whanau and friends. I hope you enjoyed your Matariki celebrations with your school whanau. Til next time, keep working towards being the best that you can be. Lou
