This week is our last week of Home Learning for Term 3. Starting next week we will be on school holidays before (hopefully) starting back at school on Monday October 18th 2021.
Please try and complete your home learning tasks and get them on your blog before the end of the week.

Here is your Home Learning guide for today. Keep practising those times tables and post your completed Choice Board tasks on your blog. I'm loving seeing all your great work!
FYI next week is the last week of the term! We will have one more week of home learning then we will be on our 2 week holiday.
Please try and get everything finished this week so when we get back to school for term 4 we have a fresh start and are ready to roll!

Keep up the great work learning your times tables, completing your Choice Board Tasks and doing your daily activities like Matific, Xtramath, Read Theory, Typing.com etc
Here is the novel ponder for week 9. We are nearly at the end of the book. I hope you have been keeping up! It is a really great book. Make sure you check out the recorded readings of Mr Greenfield for chapters 7-10 that I shared with you (or you can go onto the R25 blog to find them)
Your extra challenge is a bit of information about how the eyes can be 'tricked' to see different things and explains how we 'see' different colours. Very cool.

Here is your P4C ponder and a little extra challenge.
How is your Choice Board activities going? Remember we want your best possible work with lots of time and effort put into it! We want to know what you did, how you did it, what you learnt etc. Use information, pictures and video to show the whole process.
How are your times tables going? Keep practising them. Your goal is to know them all confidently by the end of term 4.
Extra Challenge: Take a tour around the British Museum - this is pretty cool! Discuss the questions with one of your household members.

Here is today's novel ponder and the next Te Reo slideshow for you to practise. We will do a Kahoot on Friday to check what you have learnt.
The extra challenge is some Maori games you could learn to play. Give it a go!
Keep working on your Choice Board options. Check out the Class site for the Choice Board. Remember it is about quality not speed. There is no prize for finishing first!

We have finished our volcano unit now so are moving on to some different learning. At our Meets we will be focusing more on Maths and for your Home Learning tasks you will have options to choose from on the Choice Board.
We will discuss it more at our Google Meet today. Over the next 2 weeks you will pick 2 or more options from the Choice Board and share your final products on your blog.
We are looking for top quality, thorough work - not rushed and half done. Think lots of information, lots of detail and lots of visual supports.
Several of the activities have supporting examples and/or templates for you to use. Click on the link and make a copy. Don't forget to put it in your Home Learning Folder!
