Loud Shirt Day Disco

End of Term 3 Disco on Friday - the theme is Loud Shirt Day. Kauri's disco is 11.35-12.30pm.


End Of Term Discos The theme for our end of term discos is Loud Shirt Day.  Loud Shirt Day is an annual event held every September, and is all about getting loud and raising funds to help deaf children learn to listen and speak.  Money raised for Loud Shirt Day goes to The Hearing House and the Southern Cochlear Implant Programme so that deaf and hearing-impaired children get the therapy they need to listen and speak like hearing kids.  Owairaka would like to encourage everyone to start thinking about what bright coloured clothing they could wear to our end of term Loud Shirt Day Discos.  We ask that everyone brings a coin donation for the Loud Shirt Charity. Donations will be collected on Disco Day - Friday 27
September (the last day of Term 3).
