Happy Tongan Language Week!

Mālō e lelei! Last week was Tongan Language Week - a great time to celebrate and learn about the awesome Tongan culture.

On Friday students were encouraged to dress up in Tongan dress or colourful clothes. 

We had a visit from Phoenix, Ariana and Litianne who showed us some traditional Tongan clothing with some students even getting the chance to try some on.

Wooden Games with Buddy Class

A wonderful parent won our school a day with these awesome wooden games from Woodbotherer Games. Room 6 had a session with Room 19, our buddy class. It was such fun using strategy, wits and cooperation to play these old skool games.

This weeks certificate goes to ROOM 6!! They were all awesome for the reliever/s as I was away for 2 weeks with a fractured ankle. They have been absolute superhero helpers too now I am back.
