Garden to Table Last Session - Pizza Deliciousness
After a little break from Garden to Table due to the quarantine we were finally able to have our last session making (and eating) delicious PIZZA and MUFFINS!
Awesome work from all the students in both the garden and the kitchen. A massive big thank you to Sarah for leading in the kitchen and all the amazing helpers that make this fantastic program possible. A big welcome also to Richard the Garden to Table team heading the garden.

There's a boy in the Girls Bathroom - By Louis Sachar
Room 6 and the rest of the Kauri classes are reading the novel 'There's a boy in the Girls Bathroom' - By Louis Sachar. Every week we will read a set number of chapters and then do some activities that help build our understanding of what we have read.
Please check out the students blogs weekly to see the great activities they have done. The class blogs will also have discussion questions that the students will answer.
Here is the synopsis of the book:
Bradley Chalkers is the oldest kid in the fifth grade. He tells enormous lies. He picks fights with girls. No one likes him—except Carla, the new school counselor. She thinks Bradley is sensitive and generous, and knows that Bradley could change, if only he weren't afraid to try. But when you feel like the most-hated kid in the whole school, believing in yourself can be the hardest thing in the world...
