For Philosophy for Children we discussed friendships.
We talked about whether it is okay to have a best friend? Is it okay to ever break a friendship? What makes a good friend?
We also set the scenario: 'If there was a friendship bracelet you could give your best friend that meant you were best friends forever, no matter what, you could never take off the bracelet or break the friendship' - Would it be a good idea? Would you give one to somebody? Would you accept one from somebody?

I think if you and your friend have an argument you should own up and say you were wrong and they will probably say they were wrong and then you will be friends again.

DeleteI learnt that it would be a very good example of peer pressure choosing to take a friendship bracelet.
ReplyDeletems Oshea I learnt that best friends are not real because all people are the same and they have there own thing that other people can't do and no one's perfect.

I think you should not have a friendship bracelet because they might be mean so you can't take it back

ReplyDeleteI, personally, am not a very big fan friendship bracelets, but I think it's fine to have best friends. breaking a friendship is fine, just depends why.
ReplyDeleteI think you should treat other people the way you want them to treat you. Even if their not your friend you can be nice to them and theyll be nice to you.

ReplyDeleteYou should never treat someone bad and it doesn't matter who they are or what what they like. Like everyone says "you be nice to someone nice comes back to you".
