Green Day Fun

Another great Green Day had at Owairaka School. Check out the posters we made to raise awareness for caring for our environment. Some of Room 23 made slideshows about how lucky we are to have the Earth and Isaac even wrote a story from the perspective of a piece of rubbish. Check out the students blogs to see what they did...

We also spent a small amount of time cleaning up our field. 10mins to be exact. Check out the amount of rubbish we found in a very short time! Very disappointing. Hopefully now we can all work together to keep our awesome school clean.

And look who we found among us...
Our very own Green Day Mascot. Awesome effort Rawiri!

  2. The green day clean up was really disgusting but fun. Sometimes it is good to clean up because it helps our planet in lots of different ways.

  5. Hi Mrs O'Shea.
I really enjoyed picking up rubbish off the field. The only bad thing about it is that we found so much rubbish people just left around. The green day assembly was fun but so long. The best part about the assembly is that lots of people were dressed in green. One message for people that are reading this comment pick up rubbish even if it is not yours.

  7. Green day was a fun day and gross at the same time. The part that I liked was the school assembly we had to sit down for a long time but it was still fun. The part that I liked was singing and seeing everyone in green. From Antonio
