Space Ponder 8

  1. Kia Ora. I am Ronan. Life in Earth is good. You do things well in Earth. Sleeping on Earth you don't need a sleeping bag. Having your food is not any trouble on Earth because its easier when your food doesn't float away. Having your food in space isn't easy because they float around which makes it hard. Life in Space is harder. Your things float away which is harder to do things in space. Blog ya Later

  2. Hi everyone, it's Saana!
I found out how you shower and wash your hair in space.
You step into a circular stall and squirt water into your hair. (some of it would float away) then you rub no rinse shampoo into your hair. Then hey presto! you've had a shower and washed your hair in space.

  3. Hi my name is keane I researched how do astronauts sleep in space this is how, they have to attach themselves so they don't float around and bump into something. Space station crews usually sleep in sleeping bags in small crew cabins. Blog ya later.

  4. Hi my name is Eli I searched for how to sleep in space here is a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyFYgeE32f0 they don't need a pillow because there is no gravity and they sleep on the walls because they are strapped in. Blog you later!

  5. Hi Ava Here
I searched Sleeping in space and apparently there are like sleep boxes with matresses surrounding you and a sleeping bag strapped to the wall. There are computers inside so you can work in bed!
Makes you wonder what would it be like in zero gravity??? Here is the link to my video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyFYgeE32f0

  6. Hi i'm Franny Room 22,
Astronauts have to eat food out of small packets because the packets stop some food from floating away. They also have to use tortillas instead of bread because bread is quite crumbly and the crumbs would float around.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to eat space food?

  8. Tennis... IN SPACE. Here's a link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1wtLrriguU It is different to Earth tennis because in Earth the ball goes much faster than in space because of gravity if you hit it it just floats. BYE!🐢🐢🐢

  9. Hi my name is Matilda Room 22.
Sleeping in space is hard because you have be strapped to the wall so you won't float around. Also you can't bring a normal peanut butter sandwich because the crumbs will float around so they use tortilla's because they don't let off crumbs into the air vents and might jam something or the simple idea of brushing your teeth you have to get your tooth brush and pour a little water on it then suck it off and swallow your paste you have to do this s nothing goes into the vents. Come check out this video at https://www.google.com/search?q=how+do+you+brush+your+teeth+in+space&rlz=1CAUHAI_enNZ835&oq=how+do+you+

  10. Kia ora it's Ariella-brooke here. In space they use a different type of bread called a tortilla and they use that to make sandwiches instead of our normal bread. They use tortillas because so there are not so much crumbs flying in the air.

  11. HI my name is Finley Room 22. In space it is hard to brush your teeth because the toothpaste will go every where. Eating a sandwich the crumbs will go every where too. It is good to learn about space. Blog you later.

  12. Playing Soccer in space is really different in space because there is no gravity and you and the soccer ball float in space. I got two videos on soccer in space. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKp973-o4og https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuog9_p_ycc . Watch these videos they are cool. I hope you enjoy. Bye By Lucas🏀🏀🏀🏈🏈🏈

  13. Hi Rachel I learnt how tho go toilet in space: first you go into a small room and theres a pipe and you use the pipe for number 1. You use the suction to do number 2. You use something called a waste container that pulls your number 2. Also they reuse there urine! Blog ya later here's a link to a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCG8NPh5G5w

  15. I love to sleep in my warm, comfy blanket. BUT I WONDER WHY WE USE SLEEPING BELTS IN SPACE ( while we sleep)? I wonder why we need a sleeping belt? Its probably because of the gravity level because you will just float and sleep casually and then in the morning you will be like OH NO! I think I damaged something! You should check out my blog!

  16. Hi I am Rutva. If you eat a sandwich in space it will just float around when your not holding it. And also there is no bread in space - they use tortillas because there is less crumbs. Here is a video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vio09T-8qA

  17. Hi my name is Marley and I am in Room 22 at Owairaka School.
I wonder how you would stay fit in space because there is no gravity so how would you play sport?
The difference between keeping fit on earth to space is that on earth if you kick the ball it will go up and then it will land back on the ground but in space the ball will go up and then you will have to grab it with your hands because it won't come down.
And if you try to run on the treadmill it wont work because you will just float in the air.

  19. I'm positive that all humans drink water everyday. In space to drink water you need this sealed water bag with a thing kind of like a straw coming out of it. Then you just squeeze the bag and the straw floats the water into your mouth. The difference is that in space there is no gravity so if you drink water normally in a glass the water would float up and go everywhere.

  20. Heloooooooo RM 22 it's your favorite class mate: GINA!
I'm writing this comment about eating in space. Here are a couple links of NASA in space of how to eat food:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OINZX0SFVn8

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3zYG98ah04

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBfxYBw2Sxo

    HOW YOU EAT IN SPACE:
You have your package in your hand you put it in this water thingy and pres a couple buttons and the water will make the food edible.

  22. HI Luca here, um did you know that going toilet in space is probably more different then you think. Because there toilet hole is as big as your kneecap and that is for number 2, for number 1 there is a tube I forgot to mention that both have a bit of suction
